Technical Skills Required :

Cloud Expertise : Cloud-agnostic skills with experience in both physical data centers and cloud services (AWS, Azure).

Services : EC2, S3, Route53, RDS.

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) : Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation.

Containerization & Orchestration : Kubernetes, EKS.

CI/CD Pipelines : Foundational knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, and automated deployment pipelines.

Atlassian Tooling : Jira, Confluence for project and documentation management.

Monitoring & Logging Tools : Grafana, CloudWatch, Kibana, OpenSearch.

Scripting/Programming : Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Perform system administration tasks with a basic understanding of IP/subnetting, networking, and troubleshooting on Linux/Windows environments.

- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to high utilization, scaling, and infrastructure bottlenecks.

- Manage and automate SSL and code signing certificate issuance, renewal, and deployment.

- Implement and maintain infrastructure security practices, including password management, access control, and secure configurations.

- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, with strong problem-solving abilities and ownership.

- Conduct root cause analysis using methodologies like the Five Whys and document findings.

- Create and maintain clear documentation to ensure team-wide knowledge sharing.

- Actively contribute to weekly and bi-weekly team meetings, providing input for continuous improvement of DevOps processes.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset with the ability to work under pressure.

- Experience working in hybrid (cloud + physical data center) environments.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Proven ability to automate repetitive tasks and drive efficiency in operations.
