Mandatory Skills

- Prometheus OR Grafana OR ELK stack with dynatrace., HashiCorp Vault or similar tools for secure secret management , Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm charts.
Role : We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on developing, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications within an OpenShift Kubernetes environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Docker, and HashiCorp Vault to drive automation, continuous integration and delivery, and secure secret management practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and highly available containerized applications using OpenShift Kubernetes cluster.
- Implement and manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD to automate application deployment and updates.
- Manage container lifecycle and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Integrate and manage secret management and encryption services securely using HashiCorp Vault.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to increase efficiency through automation of infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Monitor cluster health and performance; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to container orchestration and deployments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and templates using appropriate tools to ensure repeatable and consistent infrastructure setup and deployments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling.
- Ensure security best practices related to Kubernetes cluster configuration, container image security, and secret management.
- Assist in capacity planning, disaster recovery strategies, and performance tuning for the platform. -
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Proven experience working with OpenShift Kubernetes clusters including cluster setup, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Strong expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration concepts. - Experience using HashiCorp Vault or similar tools for secure secret management and encryption.
- Proficiency with Linux-based environments, scripting languages (bash, Python, etc.). -
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm charts.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring within container orchestration ecosystems. - Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exposure to logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack with dynatrace
