Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our payment processing platform team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

You will ensure highly available, secure payment systems while automating deployments and managing cloud infrastructure, adhering to financial services security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing and deployment.

- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized payment applications with high availability.

- Deploy and maintain applications using ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery.

- Build and maintain secure, compliant infrastructure-as-code using Terraform across multiple cloud environments.

- Implement and maintain security controls, monitoring, and compliance measures for payment systems.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure 99.9%+ uptime.

- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes while maintaining security standards.

- Participate in PCI-DSS compliance audits and implement required security controls.

- Manage disaster recovery procedures and business continuity planning.

- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for critical payment systems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3-5 years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, preferably in financial services or payment processing.

- Strong proficiency with Jenkins, including pipeline creation, plugin management, and distributed builds.

- Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps workflows and deployments.

- Solid Kubernetes experience, including cluster management and troubleshooting.

- Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration.

- Proficiency with Git version control and branching strategies.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).

- Understanding of payment processing concepts (authorization, settlement, clearing).

- Knowledge of financial industry security standards and best practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- PCI-DSS compliance and card data security experience.

- Experience with payment gateways, processors, or fintech companies.

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, ISO 27001).

- Experience with secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).

- API security expertise (OAuth, JWT, API gateway management).

- Database encryption and secure data handling practices.

- Knowledge of fraud detection and prevention systems.

- Experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes package management.

- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk).

- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).

- Experience with additional CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

- Understanding of high-frequency transaction processing and performance optimization.

- Experience with real-time payment systems (ACH, wire transfers, instant payments).

- Knowledge of AML and KYC compliance.

- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

- Understanding of networking concepts, VPNs, and secure network architectures.

- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
