DevOps Engineer - Ansible/Terraform

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins, ensuring seamless integration and deployment workflows.

- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, orchestration, and scaling of services.

- Implement and manage web servers and reverse proxies such as Nginx and Apache.

- Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, and other cloud-native observability tools.

- Ensure security best practices for cloud services and Kubernetes environments are followed.

- Support and manage logging infrastructure using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack at scale.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide solutions in collaboration with development teams.

- Contribute to cost optimization, high availability, and performance tuning of cloud services.

- Utilize distributed tracing and APM tools to monitor application performance and resolve issues proactively.

- Manage and maintain distributed messaging systems like Kafka and task queues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design infrastructure and deployment strategies that support business goals.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL and MongoDB, with a basic understanding of their deployment and management.

- Understanding of Microsoft Azure is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure and services.

- Proficiency in Python and at least one additional language (e.g., Node.js, Go, or Shell

scripting).

- Experience with Terraform and Ansible for IaC and configuration management.

- Strong background in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Working experience with Nginx, Apache, and reverse proxies.

- Deep understanding of cloud security and Kubernetes security controls.

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring/alerting systems.

- Knowledge of APM tools and distributed tracing methodologies.

- Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) at scale.

- Exposure to Kafka or other messaging/queue systems.

- Working knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational/NoSQL databases.

- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in GCP or Kubernetes is a plus.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
