Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer experienced in designing, building, and managing secure, scalable APIs on Azure. The role involves hands-on expertise with Azure API Management, .NET services, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and reliable production operations. The ideal candidate will also explore opportunities to integrate Azure AI services to enhance system performance and business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain REST and SOAP services using .NET Core or .NET Framework.

- Publish and govern APIs through Azure API Management with policies for transform, caching, security, and routing.

- Deploy and operate Azure Functions, Web Apps, API Gateway, WAF, Container Apps, and AKS.

- Implement OAuth 2.0, mutual TLS, SSL or TLS, RBAC, and secure API design principles.

- Build CI and CD with Azure DevOps. Use infrastructure as code with Bicep, Terraform, or ARM.

- Instrument services with Application Insights and Log Analytics. Create alerts and dashboards.

- Integrate Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Document Intelligence into backend APIs where useful.

- Debug issues across application, API, infrastructure, and network layers in hybrid environments.

- Support selected on premise workloads including IIS and Java servers.

- Align API design with SPA consumers such as Angular and React.

Role Requirements and Qualifications :

- Proven .NET developer background with API and cloud integration experience.

- Hands on with Azure Functions, Azure API Management, AKS or Container Apps, API Gateway, Web Apps, and WAF.

- Strong CI and CD in Azure DevOps with infrastructure automation using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM.

- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, mTLS, SSL or TLS, Azure RBAC, and secure API design.

- Protocols and data formats familiarity including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.

- Application Insights and Log Analytics for monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Frontend awareness including SPA consumption patterns and CORS considerations.

- Production readiness including incident handling and post incident reviews.
