Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage InstallShield packaging, scripting, and migrations to alternate tools (WIX Toolset, Advanced Installer, etc.) as required.

- Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Shell, or MS scripting languages.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate .NET Core applications with DevOps workflows.

- Manage cloud deployments on AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and availability.

- Work with version control systems (SVN, Git) to manage code repositories and branching strategies.

- Troubleshoot build and deployment issues, ensuring quick resolution and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Development, Product) to support faster release cycles.

- Explore, evaluate, and migrate InstallShield projects to modern packaging/installer solutions.

- Maintain documentation, best practices, and knowledge-sharing sessions for the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7- 10 years of experience in DevOps engineering.

- Strong expertise in InstallShield and InstallShield scripting language.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Proficiency in scripting (MS Scripting, Shell, PowerShell).

- Solid experience with .NET Core, Visual Studio 2022.

- Cloud experience with AWS & Azure.

- Experience with installer packaging tools (WIX Toolset, Advanced Installer, InstallAware, Visual Studio Installer Projects).

- Familiarity with version control systems (SVN, Git).

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of migration from InstallShield to alternate installer tools.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
