DevOps Developer - CI/CD Pipeline

About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer with strong experience in CI/CD pipelines, automation, environment management, and application deployment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in modern DevOps tools, scripting, and server technologies, along with 3 to 5 years of experience working in the Banking or Finance domain.

This role involves collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline build and release processes, ensure environment stability, and improve deployment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

CI/CD & Release Management :

- Manage and optimize the end-to-end Build and Release process for enterprise applications.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven/Gradle/NPM, and related tools.

- Integrate code quality and security checks, including :

1. SonarQube (code analysis)

2. Fortify, NexusIQ (static scans and security checks)

- Ensure smooth, error-free deployments across development, QA, and production environments.

Version Control & Collaboration :

- Work extensively with Git for managing code repositories.

- Handle branching strategies, code merges, conflict resolution, and repository administration.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain code and environment consistency.

Server & Infrastructure Management :

- Manage and administer Linux-based environments.

- Work with application and web servers such as :

1. Apache Tomcat

2. WebLogic Application Server

3. NGINX

4. Apache HTTP Server

- Monitor server health, troubleshoot deployment issues, and optimize configurations.

Scripting & Automation :

- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Groovy to simplify operational tasks.

- Automate repetitive processes to improve deployment speed and accuracy.

Containerization & Orchestration (Added Advantage) :

- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

- Ability to build, deploy, and manage containerized applications is a plus.

Requirements :

- 6 to 8 years of overall DevOps experience.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in the Banking/Finance domain is preferred.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, static code analysis, and server administration.

- Strong experience with Linux OS and scripting languages.

- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
