Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Developer with strong expertise in InstallShield and related packaging tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle, with a focus on CI/CD, cross-functional collaboration, and tooling optimization. This role is critical in ensuring smooth build and release processes across environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD frameworks.

- Manage and configure application packaging and installation using InstallShield, WIX Toolset, Advanced Installer, InstallAware, and Visual Studio Installer Projects.

- Migrate packaging solutions from InstallShield to alternative tools as required.

- Work closely with development and QA teams to support continuous integration and delivery.

- Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Shell, and MS Scripting for build, deployment, and automation tasks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues.

- Maintain version control and branching strategies using Git and SVN.

- Support and manage deployments in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.

- Track tasks and progress using JIRA and ensure timely updates and communication.

Core Competencies :

- Proficiency in Visual Studio 2022, .NET Core

- Strong hands-on experience with InstallShield and InstallShield scripting

- Expertise in CI/CD tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions

- Advanced scripting skills : MS Scripting, Shell, PowerShell

- Cloud knowledge : AWS, Azure

- Version control systems : SVN, Git

- Application packaging tools : WIX Toolset, Advanced Installer, InstallAware, Visual Studio Installer Projects

- Agile tools : JIRA

Additional Requirements :

- Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices and advanced tooling

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Proven ability to explore, learn, and implement new technologies

- Experience in migrating from InstallShield to other installation tools is a plus
