Job Summary :

Overview :

The DevOps Consultant acts as a bridge between partners, development teams, and the DevOps support team. The role involves managing build and deployment processes, automating CI/CD pipelines, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and ensuring smooth software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Liaison & Coordination :

- Work as a link between partners and the DevOps support team to ensure smooth communication, issue resolution, and timely delivery.

Task Management :

- Prioritize and manage personal and team tasks effectively while setting clear targets and deadlines for completion.

Reporting :

- Provide regular progress and deployment status reports to Product Owners and Sprint teams.

- Share periodic updates on deployment increments, change management, and release processes with project stakeholders.

Automation & Tooling :

- Develop and implement build and deployment automation strategies.

- Work on selecting and integrating appropriate DevOps tools to streamline CI/CD pipelines.

Infrastructure & Cloud Management :

- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure to support project requirements.

- Perform necessary cloud networking configurations to ensure secure and efficient communication between components.

CI/CD & Observability :

- Create and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Implement observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and alerting, to maintain system health.

Containerization & Deployment :

- Configure and manage container registries.

- Work with Docker for building containerized applications and Helm for deploying them on Kubernetes clusters.

Scripting & Automation :

- Write automation scripts to simplify repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate closely with Sprint teams on software increments, deployments, and continuous improvement of DevOps processes.
