Role & Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and govern scalable, highly available, and secure DevOps/cloud architectures across development, testing, and production environments.
- Define and drive CI/CD strategies using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
- Design and manage containerized and orchestration platforms, primarily Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or equivalent technologies.
- Establish DevOps standards, reusable frameworks, automation patterns, and engineering best practices across teams.
- Implement observability and monitoring using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, CloudWatch, or equivalent platforms.
- Collaborate with application, engineering, security, QA, and infrastructure teams to integrate DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Design solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and resilience.
- Identify and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, performance, and production issues.
- Establish and improve security controls, secrets management, vulnerability management, access controls, and compliance practices.
- Drive cloud cost optimization and infrastructure efficiency initiatives.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to DevOps, SRE, cloud, and development teams.
- Mentor engineers and promote automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging cloud-native technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- 8-10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale DevOps and cloud architectures.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform : AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker/containerization.
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, branching strategies, automated testing, and release management.
- Experience with Linux/Unix administration, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security fundamentals.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, container security, and security automation.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and production incident management.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Understanding of microservices, API-based architectures, distributed systems, and cloud-native application design.
- Experience implementing high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and resilience strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience troubleshooting complex production environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), Terraform, or DevOps certifications would be an advantage.
