Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise-grade DevOps and cloud infrastructure solutions.

The role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on expertise, and the ability to align DevOps practices with business objectives.

You will work closely with engineering, QA, security, and leadership teams to drive automation, scalability, reliability, and security across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and own the DevOps architecture roadmap aligned with business and technology goals

- Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native architectures

- Establish DevOps best practices, standards, and governance frameworks across teams

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for microservices and monolithic applications

- Drive automation for build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning

- Optimize deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling deployments)

- Architect and manage infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates

- Design hybrid and multi-cloud solutions where required

- Architect container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes

- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE or on-prem)

- Define container security, networking, and resource optimization strategies

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Cloud-native tools)

- Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and SLAs

- Integrate DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance

- Act as a technical mentor for DevOps and engineering teams

- Collaborate with application architects, developers, QA, and security teams

- Provide technical inputs to leadership, clients, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

- Expertise in Linux/Unix system administration

- Advanced scripting skills (Shell, Python, Groovy, etc.)

- Deep experience with AWS / Azure / GCP services

- Strong understanding of networking, security groups, IAM, load balancers, and DNS

- Kubernetes architecture and operations

- Service mesh concepts (Istio, Linkerd - good to have)

- Experience supporting microservices-based applications

- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)

- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools (SonarQube, Trivy, Aqua, Snyk, etc.)

- Understanding of compliance and security standards (ISO, SOC2 - desirable)

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 12+ years of overall IT experience

- 3+ years in a DevOps Architect or Senior DevOps Lead role

- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a strong plus
