DevOps Architect - AWS Platform

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to design, build, and lead scalable DevOps and cloud-native architectures across enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and scripting, along with the ability to drive DevOps strategy, platform modernization, and operational excellence.

This role requires strong technical leadership and close collaboration with development, security, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities :

DevOps Architecture & Strategy :

- Design and implement end-to-end DevOps architecture for cloud-native and microservices-based applications.

- Define best practices, standards, and governance for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration.

- Lead DevOps transformation initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

Cloud & Kubernetes :

- Architect, deploy, and manage workloads on AWS cloud platforms.

- Design and operate Kubernetes clusters for high availability, scalability, and security.

- Establish multi-environment strategies (dev, test, staging, production).

CI/CD & GitOps :

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.

- Implement GitOps workflows using Argo CD for continuous delivery.

- Improve release reliability and deployment frequency.

Automation & Scripting :

- Develop automation scripts using Python and other scripting languages.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and operational tasks.

Security, Monitoring & Reliability :

- Embed DevSecOps practices including access control, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive system health management.

- Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Work closely with application teams, architects, and stakeholders to align DevOps solutions with business goals.

- Provide technical guidance, conduct architecture reviews, and support incident resolution.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- 12 to 15 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on DevOps and cloud architecture experience.

- Extensive experience with AWS services (compute, networking, storage, IAM).

- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.

- Proficiency in Python and scripting languages for automation.

- Working knowledge of Argo CD and GitOps-based deployment models.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.

- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar.

- Prior experience in mentoring teams or leading DevOps initiatives.
