As we continue our high-growth trajectory, we are seeking a Technology Team Lead / Engineering Manager to take ownership of Dentalkarts end-to-end technology ecosystem.

This role is integral to strengthening our product infrastructure, enhancing performance, and driving scalable technology solutions aligned with business growth.

Role Overview

The Technology Team Lead will serve as both a technical architect and a people leader. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance between coding, mentoring, and strategic oversight. The incumbent will lead a cross-functional development team while ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across Dentalkarts web, mobile, and backend platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with deep technical acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for building scalable, reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of frontend, backend, and mobile developers.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Dentalkarts website (React) and mobile application (React Native).

- Manage backend architecture using Node.js, SQL, and Django (Python).

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver business-aligned technological solutions.

- Oversee and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch) for scalability and performance.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub Actions) ensuring seamless deployments.

- Ensure system reliability, monitor uptime, and troubleshoot production issues effectively.

- Define sprint plans, monitor project progress, and manage deliverables using Jira or equivalent project management tools.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1015 years of total professional experience in full-stack development.

- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in leading technical teams or managing engineering functions.

- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and React Native.

- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and working knowledge of Django (Python).

- Experience in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.

- Thorough understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong analytical, architectural design, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team management abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience in e-commerce or high-traffic, scalable platforms.

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to startup or product-based environments with agile delivery methodologies.
