We are seeking an experienced and technically sound SAP ABAP Consultant to join our SAP delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting SAP custom solutions across modules like SD, MM, and FI/CO. This role involves working closely with functional consultants, business users, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP enhancements and integrations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality SAP ABAP solutions in accordance with client and project requirements.
- Participate in all stages of SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
- Develop and support various ABAP components.
- Develop and review technical specifications based on functional requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring.
- Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and resolve bugs and performance issues through advanced debugging.
- Collaborate with functional teams (SD, MM, FI/CO) to develop cross-functional solutions.
- Support and maintain custom solutions in SAP ECC 6.0, with exposure to S/4HANA being a plus.
- Maintain documentation of technical developments and configurations as per standards.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 12 full life cycle SAP implementation/rollout/support projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in core ABAP development tools and techniques.
- Experience working with SAP SD, MM, and FI/CO modules.
- Expertise in SAP ECC 6.0, with ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good understanding of SAP technical architecture and development lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and mentor junior consultants.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :
- SAP ABAP Certification from SAP.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with OData, SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
