Delivery Manager - Data Engineering

About the Role :

We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager Data Engineering to lead large-scale, cloud-based data initiatives and drive end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics programs. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, delivery leadership, and stakeholder management to execute complex data transformation projects across global teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and drive end-to-end delivery of data engineering programs, ensuring timelines, quality, and business outcomes are met

- Lead large, distributed teams across geographies, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture

- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable data platforms, data pipelines, and analytics solutions on cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define data strategy, architecture, and roadmap

- Ensure best practices in data governance, data quality, security, and compliance

- Manage project planning, risk mitigation, budgeting, and resource allocation

- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, agile practices, and operational efficiency

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on data transformation initiatives

What Were Looking For

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

- 12+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or analytics delivery

- 5+ years of experience in delivery leadership, managing complex data programs in cloud environments

- Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data stacks

- Strong experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data integration, and analytics ecosystems

- Proven ability to build and manage high-performing, distributed teams

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills

- Experience in Retail, Media, or Consumer Products domains is preferred

- Exposure to AI/ML, LLMs, or agentic AI systems is an added advantage
