Description :

Project Delivery & Governance :

- Own end-to-end project delivery across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure

- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality benchmarks

- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting cadence, and review mechanisms

- Track project KPIs, risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively drive resolution

Client & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary point of contact for BFSI / Insurance clients

- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, including business, IT, and compliance teams

- Drive regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and executive reviews

- Manage expectations and ensure transparency on progress, risks, and mitigation plans

Escalation & Risk Management :

- Proactively identify project risks and define mitigation and contingency plans

- Own escalation management, including coordination across internal teams and client stakeholders

- Handle critical situations calmly, ensuring minimal impact to delivery and client confidence

- Ensure compliance with BFSI regulatory, security, and audit requirements

Resource Allocation & Planning :

- Plan, allocate, and optimize project resources across multiple workstreams

- Work with delivery, engineering, QA, and architecture teams to ensure right skill-to-task alignment

- Manage capacity planning, utilization, onboarding, ramp-up, and transition of resources

- Address skill gaps through training plans or resource augmentation

Delivery Management & Execution :

- Lead cross-functional teams including development, QA, DevOps, and business analysts

- Ensure adherence to Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid delivery models, as applicable

- Review and approve project plans, estimates, change requests, and delivery commitments

- Ensure quality standards, testing rigor, and release readiness

Must have skillset :

- 10+ years of experience in IT Project / Program Management

- Strong experience working with BFSI clients, preferably Insurance

- Proven track record in managing large, complex projects

- Excellent escalation management and problem-solving skills

- Strong experience in resource planning, allocation, and utilization management

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

- Experience working in regulated environments with security and compliance considerations

Good to have Skill set :

- Insurance business processes such as :

a. Policy Administration

b. Claims Management

c. Underwriting

d. Billing & Payments

e. Regulatory & Compliance workflows

- Translate business requirements into clear execution plans for technical teams
