About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer with deep expertise in Android-based embedded systems and security architecture.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Android porting, version upgrades, and a strong understanding of the Android architecture and security model.

This role requires software architecture skills, embedded programming expertise, and experience with trusted execution environments like HSM or ARM TrustZone.

You will be responsible for implementing secure software solutions, reviewing code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure embedded systems in automotive or IoT domains.

Key Responsibilities :

Android Embedded System Development :

- Port Android onto embedded hardware platforms and handle version upgrades.

- Work with the full Android stack : Drivers, HAL layer, framework, and applications.

- Understand and implement Android security architecture, including Android Verified Boot, SELinux, sandboxing, and permission models.

- Analyze software requirements, design solutions, and perform code reviews for security and functionality.

Embedded Security & Trusted Execution :

- Implement and support trusted OS solutions such as HSM or ARM TrustZone.

- Apply embedded/automotive security concepts : secure boot, RPMB, one-time programmable memory, software signing.

- Work with cryptography, authentication algorithms, and protocols : PKI, RSA, ECDSA, AES, PKCS standards, TLS, OpenSSL.

- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate secure systems and perform threat analysis.

Software Architecture & Development :

- Participate in software architecture discussions and design decisions.

- Ensure secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.

- Troubleshoot and debug security-related issues in Android embedded systems.

- Document solutions, processes, and vulnerabilities for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

B.Tech/BE/MS/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- 8 to 10 years of overall experience in embedded software development, with 5+ years in security.

- Strong hands-on experience with Android system development and architecture.

- Expertise in C, C++, and Java programming languages.

- Knowledge of HSM or ARM TrustZone-based trusted OS.

- Experience with embedded security concepts : secure boot, RPMB, software signing.

- Strong understanding of cryptography, authentication protocols, and standards : PKI, RSA, ECDSA, AES, PKCS, TLS, OpenSSL.

- Experience in software requirement analysis, design, and code review
