The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive testing and evaluation. This role involves developing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Planning : Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications.

- Test Execution : Conduct manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.

- Defect Tracking : Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools; work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to understand product requirements and provide feedback.

- Test Automation : Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

- Reporting : Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate test results and product quality to stakeholders.

- Continuous Improvement : Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in testing.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Knowledge :

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
