Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and proactive DC Ops Manager to oversee and manage our Data Center Infrastructure Operations and Support services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of data center activities, maintaining SLAs, managing server inventory, and leading a team of IT professionals. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and adherence to ITIL processes.
Key Responsibilities
SLA & Reporting :
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of SLA reports for review by the DC Manager.
- Publish weekly and monthly dashboards for all managed services.
Infrastructure Management :
- Manage server inventory, including commissioning and de-commissioning updates.
- Oversee daily BAU activities, incident allocation, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with customer SMEs for tracking and closing daily issues.
Team Leadership & Support :
- Guide and support team members in call closure and escalation management.
- Drive team efforts for change implementation and closure.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Process & Compliance :
- Maintain compliance tracking and ensure adherence to ITIL processes.
- Implement and promote automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Operations Management :
- Manage infrastructure operations, support, and maintenance services.
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of data center environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience :
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data center operations, infrastructure management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing teams and operational workflows.
Technical Knowledge :
- In-depth understanding of Data Center technologies and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with server inventory management, hardware lifecycle, and commissioning/de-commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and compliance standards.
Soft Skills :
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
- Certifications in ITIL, cloud platforms, or data center management are a plus.
