DBT Engineer

About the Opportunity :

We are looking for a highly skilled DBT Engineer to join their growing data engineering team in Pune. This role is ideal for professionals who have a strong background in transforming raw data into clean, structured, and production-ready datasets using modern data stack tools. You will work on challenging projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Transformation & Pipeline Development :

- Design and develop scalable data models and transformation workflows using DBT

- Optimize and maintain data pipelines built on modern data platforms

Integration & Automation :

- Work with multiple data sources and APIs to ingest and transform data

- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business teams to understand data requirements

- Create thorough documentation and maintain code quality

Testing & Monitoring :

- Build robust testing strategies to ensure data accuracy

- Monitor and troubleshoot data issues in production environments

Desired Skills :

- Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool)

- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts

- Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern data stack tools

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Eligibility Criteria :

Education :

UG : B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or related fields

PG : M.Tech/M.E./MCA (preferred but not mandatory)
