Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Consultant with 7 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP integration with third-party applications, along with a deep understanding of SAP modules and business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP, ABAP OO, and other related technologies.

- Lead the technical design and development of custom solutions to meet business requirements.

- Work closely with functional consultants and business users to analyze and translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Develop and support interfaces between SAP and third-party applications using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs.

- Optimize and debug existing ABAP programs to improve system performance and reliability.

- Develop and implement SAP enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BTEs as needed.

- Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed for scalability, maintainability, and performance.

- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Stay up to date with SAP technology advancements and recommend innovations where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Minimum 3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects experience.

- Strong expertise in ABAP, ABAP Objects (ABAP OO), ALV, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.

- Hands-on experience with SAP integration using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and REST/SOAP Web Services.

- Experience with ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, and performance tuning) is preferred.

- Good knowledge of SAP Workflow, Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, BTEs), and BDCs.

- Experience with Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and debug complex issues.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- SAP certification in ABAP or related fields is a plus.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

- SAP certification (optional but preferred)
