Job Title : Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Consultant
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Consultant with deep expertise in customizing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion HCM modules. The role involves end-to-end technical ownership across Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and Talent Management, including report development, data migration, integrations, and advanced customizations. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing HCM solutions while ensuring system stability, seamless integrations, and adherence to best practices.
Module Customization & Configuration :
- Customize and extend Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and Talent Management.
- Support Redwood page customization with JavaScript and CSS to enhance user experience.
- Implement advanced workflow configurations and approval hierarchies.
Reports & Analytics :
- Develop and customize BI Publisher (BIP) reports, including email & FTP bursting.
- Build OTBI reports and dashboards, integrating them into Agents and Briefing Books for executive reporting.
- Collaborate with functional teams to deliver tailored reporting solutions aligned with client requirements.
Integrations & Data Management :
- Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware tools.
- Execute data migration strategies via FBDI templates, ensuring smooth transition during implementation.
- Manage bulk data loading and conversions using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and spreadsheet loaders.
- Ensure seamless third-party system integrations with HCM Cloud.
Technical Development & Customization :
- Expertise in Fast Formulas (especially Payroll) for calculations, eligibility rules, and validations.
- Write and debug Expression Language (EL) expressions for dynamic UI behavior and conditional logic.
- Develop and support Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Process Cloud Service (PCS/OPA) extensions.
- Monitor and optimize SQL queries for performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Testing & Implementation :
- Lead end-to-end technical testing for HCM modules and integrations.
- Provide support during full implementation lifecycle (requirement gathering, design, development, SIT, UAT, deployment).
- Document technical designs, test scripts, and user guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience : 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Consultant with at least 2+ full-cycle Fusion HCM implementations.
Technical Expertise :
- Strong knowledge of HCM Core & Payroll processes.
- Hands-on experience with Fast Formulas, HDL extracts, FBDI templates.
- Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, OIC, VBCS, and PCS.
- Strong understanding of security, workflows, and approval hierarchies in HCM Cloud.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with global HCM implementations in multi-country rollouts.
- Exposure to Oracle Redwood UX customizations.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodology and DevOps tools for CI/CD in Oracle Cloud.
