Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and extensive experience in data migration and manipulation.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and solve complex problems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform data mapping, including handling complex scenarios where one-to-one mapping is not possible.

- Collaborate with business SMEs to understand solution complexities and implement ideal solutions.

- Develop and execute data migration scripts.

- Proficiently use SQL and other data manipulation languages to manage and migrate data.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.

- Maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes and solutions.

Qualifications :

- Strong analytical and data mapping skills.

- Solid background in data migration scripting.

- 4- 6 years of relevant experience in data migration and manipulation.

- Strong analytical background and ability to solve complex problems efficiently.

- Proven experience with ETL methodologies and tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or scripting languages like Python/SQL).

- Expertise in data mapping, transformation logic, and performance tuning of migration scripts.

- Experience with data validation, QA checks, and reconciliation processes.

Preferred Skills :

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and stored procedures for data extraction and validation.

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow).

- Familiarity with specific data warehousing concepts and tools (Snowflake, Redshift).

- Experience with structured methodologies (waterfall, Agile) in large-scale system implementation projects.

- Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.

- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
