DB2/ETL Developer

Role : DB ETL Developer.

Location : Bangalore.

Mode : Hybrid.

Experience : 7 to 14 years.

Required : Immediate joiners or 1 month notice period.

Skills Required :

- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.

- 5 to 7 years of experience as a hands-on developer in Sybase, DB2, and ETL technologies.

- Extensive experience in data integration, interface design, and development of reusable components.

Advanced knowledge of :

- Python.

- DB2 and Sybase.

- Shell scripting (Unix/Linux).

- SQL and relational database concepts.

- Database design and modeling.

- Writing stored procedures, performance optimization, and tuning.

- Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and core DB principles.

- Ability to make data-driven decisions with both hard and soft data.

- Demonstrated success in delivering results and driving projects to completion.

- Strategic mindset with strong technical acumen.

- Commitment to continuous learning and team improvement.

- Experience with API development is a plus.

- Exposure to BI tools, Source-to-Pay systems like SAP Ariba, and Accounts Payable systems is a bonus.

- Familiarity with Postgres and Python is advantageous.

Core Skills :

- Relational Databases (DB2 & Postgres preferred).

- Unix/Linux scripting.

- Python.

- SQL queries.
