Role Overview :
As a Datawarehouse Consultant, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge data warehousing solutions for our clients.
Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with client stakeholders, data engineers, and business analysts to understand their data needs and translate them into robust and scalable data warehouse architectures.
You will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making by ensuring the availability of reliable and insightful data, ultimately impacting business outcomes and customer experiences positively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement end-to-end data warehousing solutions using technologies like Teradata, Cloudera, Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka to meet client's business requirements.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica to ensure data quality and consistency across the data warehouse.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for data warehouse development.
- Optimize data warehouse performance through query tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies to protect sensitive data and maintain data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure data availability.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data warehousing solutions using Teradata, Cloudera, and Hadoop.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and techniques, with the ability to design efficient and scalable data warehouse schemas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of big data technologies like Spark and Kafka, with the ability to leverage them for real-time data processing and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Adaptable to work in a remote or hybrid environment, demonstrating strong self-discipline and time management skills.
