THIS IS A DESIGNER + DEVELOPER ROLE (NOT A PURE DESIGN OR PURE DEV ROLE)

Job Overview :

We are a startup working in immersive technologies, projection mapping, AR/VR, real-time 3D, AI-enabled installations, and interactive spatial experiences.

We are looking for a Technical 3D Designer-Developer (All-Rounder) who can design, animate, and also develop immersive environments using Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, and WebGL technologies.

This role requires strong artistic capability combined with solid development skills. The candidate must be comfortable working with real-time engines, AR/VR hardware, SDKs, WebGL, and physical immersive setups.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, model, texture, rig, and animate high-quality 3D assets using Blender

- Develop AR/VR experiences and simulations using Unity and Unreal Engine

- Build interactive WebGL experiences, avatars, and browser-based 3D applications

- Work on SDK development, immersive modules, and reusable components

- Use JavaScript, TypeScript, React for immersive front-end and integration

- Implement lip-sync systems, avatar animation, and real-time interactions

- Create VFX, compositing, and post-production using After Effects & Premiere Pro

- Prepare textures, UI elements, layouts, and storyboards using Photoshop & Canva

- Collaborate with hardware teams for projection mapping, cameras, sensors, and VR devices

- Support real-time rendering pipelines, calibration, lighting, and spatial alignment

- Work on immersive installations involving projectors, domes, VR headsets, and sensors

Mandatory Technical Skills (NON-NEGOTIABLE) :

Candidates MUST have hands-on experience in ALL of the following :

3D & Engines :

- Blender - modeling, animation, rigging, texturing

- Unity - AR/VR development, real-time interaction

- Unreal Engine - real-time rendering & immersive environments

AR / VR :

- Oculus / Meta / HTC Vive or similar AR/VR devices

- Understanding of spatial interaction & immersive UX

Web & Programming :

- WebGL

- JavaScript

- TypeScript

- React

- Python (tools, automation, pipelines, or integration)

VFX & Design Tools :

- After Effects

- Premiere Pro

- Photoshop

- Canva

This role requires a TECHNICAL ALL-ROUNDER - Design + Development BOTH are mandatory.

Preferred / Bonus Skills :

- Projection mapping systems & workflows

- Camera calibration, lighting, and immersive setups

- Dome / sphere / large-scale immersive environments

- AI-based creative tools or real-time AI interaction

- Interactive storytelling & experiential design

Experience Requirement :

ONLY candidates with 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience should apply

Compensation (Startup Policy) :

We are a startup, and salary is NOT fixed

Compensation will be decided purely based on :

- Portfolio quality

Qualifications :

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in :

- Animation

- Multimedia Design

- Computer Graphics

- AR/VR

Or related field

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Can design, animate, AND develop

- Passionate about immersive technology & real-time experiences

- Immediate joiner only (2-3 days, max 1 week)

- Willing to work from office in Gurugra
