Role Overview :

The Senior Technical Specialist is a hands-on technical expert responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting complex technology solutions across enterprise environments. This role requires deep domain expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, architects, and delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will act as a technical authority within your specialization, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices, standards, and innovation initiatives across projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Delivery :

- Design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions within your technical domain (e.g., databases, cloud, application platforms, data platforms).

- Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production and pre-production issues.

- Drive performance tuning, optimization, automation, and reliability improvements.

- Review technical designs, architecture decisions, and code/configurations to ensure adherence to best practices.

Client Engagement & Collaboration :

- Act as a senior technical point of contact for customers on assigned engagements.

- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Provide technical guidance during presales, solutioning, and architecture discussions when required.

- Communicate clearly with stakeholders on risks, dependencies, and resolution plans.

Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing :

- Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members.

- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, technical documentation, and reusable assets.

- Promote engineering excellence, standards, and continuous improvement.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends relevant to your specialization.

- Recommend improvements to architectures, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

- Participate in automation, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 8+ years of hands-on technical experience in one or more enterprise technology domains (e.g., databases, cloud platforms, application development, data platforms, infrastructure).

- Deep expertise in at least one core technology stack such as :

1. Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL

2. AWS / Azure / GCP

- Application platforms, middleware, or data engineering tools

- Strong experience with system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.

- Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
