About the Role :
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Technical Consultant to lead and implement robust, scalable integrations and custom solutions across Oracle Cloud applications. This is a senior-level technical consulting position that requires strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud platform servicesprimarily Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher, Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS), Oracle APEX, and data conversion tools.
As a Principal Consultant, you will work closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams to define integration strategies, build interfaces, and support enterprise-grade cloud deployments that align with functional and technical objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Integration Development and Delivery :
- Architect, design, and develop OIC integrations, including REST/SOAP-based services, File-based integrations, and Process Automation workflows.
- Develop and maintain real-time and batch integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and third-party/internal systems.
- Ensure seamless data flow and integration between Oracle SaaS, PaaS, and on-premise applications using OIC adapters and custom APIs.
Technical Implementation & Support
- Design and develop custom applications and extensions using Oracle APEX and Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS).
- Configure, develop, and troubleshoot BI Publisher reports, FBDI templates, and data extracts.
- Perform end-to-end data conversions, including mapping, validation, cleansing, and loading to Oracle Cloud.
- Address technical defects and resolve system integration issues in collaboration with Oracle Support and internal DevOps teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Engineering
- Engage directly with business and functional teams to gather, analyze, and document technical requirements for interfaces, reports, conversions, and enhancements.
- Translate business needs into technical design specifications, integration flows, and data models.
- Participate in design review, code walkthroughs, and UAT sessions with project and client teams.
Documentation & Governance
- Create and maintain detailed technical architecture documents, integration specifications, deployment plans, and support runbooks.
- Enforce code quality standards, version control practices, and documentation protocols aligned with enterprise IT governance.
Operational Readiness and Support
- Provide technical training and post-go-live support to key business users.
- Ensure data security, high availability, and disaster recovery measures for integrations and custom solutions.
- Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to ensure performance tuning, error handling, and alerting mechanisms are in place.
Required Technical Skills :
\8+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud technical development with at least 3+ years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Proven experience in :
- REST/SOAP web services, B2B adapters, file-based integrations
- BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI, ADFdi
- Oracle APEX and VBCS development
- PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, Groovy scripting
- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud data model, business events, and workflows.
- Expertise in developing and securing integrations using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and custom headers.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Maven) and CI/CD pipelines for code promotion.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) understanding is a plus.
- Knowledge of third-party integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) is desirable.
- ERP Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Cloud Developer Associate).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced delivery teams.
