Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled DataStage Developer with 4-9 years of experience to join our team in Gurgaon. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting complex ETL jobs using IBM DataStage. This role requires strong hands-on experience with DataStage version 11.0+, proficiency in ETL concepts, and a solid understanding of database and cloud fundamentals to contribute to our data warehousing and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Proficiently develop sophisticated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs using IBM DataStage to integrate data from various sources into data warehouses and analytical platforms.

- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, adherence to standards, and optimal performance of ETL processes.

- Create and maintain comprehensive technical design documentation for ETL jobs, mappings, and data flows.

- Apply proven ETL experience, ideally in a client-facing capacity, within data warehousing and analytics environments using DataStage or other enterprise ETL tools.

- Utilize expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage version 11.0 and above, including components like QualityStage, Data Architect, and Business Glossary.

- Implement robust and scalable ETL solutions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

- Demonstrate expertise in performance tuning of DataStage Jobs to optimize execution time and resource utilization.

- Collaborate with data architects, database administrators, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Possess basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands for scripting and job execution.

- Work with Cloud Infrastructure, specifically demonstrating Microsoft/IBM Cloud experience.

Required Skills :

- 4-9 years of experience in ETL development.

- Proficiency in developing sophisticated ETL jobs using DataStage.

- Experience with code reviews and creating technical design documentation.

- Proven ETL experience (client facing preferred) with data warehouse/Analytics concepts.

- Expertise on IBM InfoSphere DataStage version 11.0 and above, including QualityStage, Data Architect, and Business Glossary.

- Expertise implementing ETL solutions in IBM DataStage. Certification is preferred.

- Expertise of Performance tuning of DataStage Jobs.

- Basic knowledge on UNIX/Linux commands.

- Basic knowledge on Cloud Infrastructure, with specific experience in Microsoft/IBM Cloud.

- Strong understanding of DB2 database concepts.
