Job Summary :

We are looking for a talented DataPower Developer with 1 to 3 years of experience in Middleware technologies and IBM DataPower Gateway. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and supporting DataPower services, along with expertise in XML, XSLT, API integration, and version control using GitHub.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, configure, and maintain IBM DataPower Gateway services and policies.

- Design, develop, and support middleware solutions using IBM DataPower.

- Create and maintain XML and XSLT transformations for message processing.

- Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services.

- Configure security policies, authentication, authorization, SSL, and encryption on IBM DataPower.

- Troubleshoot and resolve middleware integration issues and production incidents.

- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate enterprise applications.

- Perform testing, debugging, and deployment of DataPower configurations.

- Manage source code using GitHub and follow version control best practices.

- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and support documentation.

- Participate in application enhancements, code reviews, and release activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

Primary Skills :

- 1 to 3 years of experience in IBM DataPower Gateway development and support.

- Hands-on experience with IBM DataPower configuration and administration.

- Strong knowledge of :

1. XML

2. XSLT

3. XPath

4. XSD

- Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services.

- Knowledge of API security concepts such as SSL, OAuth, JWT, and API Gateway policies.

- Experience in troubleshooting middleware and integration issues.

Secondary Skills :

- Experience with GitHub for source code management.

- Understanding of Middleware integration concepts.

- Familiarity with JSON and web service technologies.

- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools and deployment processes.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to IBM API Connect or API Management solutions.

- Familiarity with IBM MQ, WebSphere, or other middleware technologies.

- Basic knowledge of Java and scripting languages.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- IBM DataPower certifications are an added advantage.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
