We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team in building a cutting-edge Enterprise Analytics Platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for one of our global leading BFSI client's project.

This role will play a critical role in understanding client business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring successful delivery of the data warehouse solution.

Key Responsibilities :

- 1. Elicit and document business requirements: Conduct thorough needs assessments, gather requirements from stakeholders across different departments (e.g., marketing, finance, operations), and document them clearly and concisely.

- 2. Translate business requirements into functional specifications: Define data models, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and create data dictionaries.

- 3. Develop and maintain strong client relationships: Build and maintain effective communication channels with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.

- 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.

- 5. Conduct data analysis and prepare reports: Analyze data trends, identify insights, and prepare reports to support business decision-making.

- 6. Stay abreast of industry best practices: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data-warehousing, business intelligence and cloud computing.

- 7. Documentation: Excellent documentation (BRD, FRD) skills and Use Cases is a must.

Technical Skills :

- Domain Knowledge: Banking Domain knowledge is must (Preferably US Banking).

- Business Requirement Gathering: More than 5 yrs of experience in Banking / Report requirements and create BRD/FRD.

- Banking Process: Must be well versed with banking processes, terminologies, rules, regulatory policies and correlate with reporting requirements.

- Dashboards & Visualization: Familiarity and usage of the reporting tools is must.

- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, DevOps).

- Data Modelling: Experience with dimensional data modelling, star schema, snowflake schema is a must.

- Data Warehousing Concepts: Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data quality checks, data profiling is a must.

- Cloud Platforms: Good understanding of cloud computing concepts, familiarity with GCP is a must.

Qualifications :

- A minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data-driven environment.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and methodologies.

- Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling (logical, physical and conceptual).

- Proficiency in data modeling tools preferably TOAD or Erwin.

- Experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in data visualization tools.

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills.

- Good to have the experience over Medallion Architecture.
