DataLake Delivery Lead

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Data Lake solutions on cloud/on-premise platforms.

- Define architecture, design standards, and best practices for data ingestion, storage, transformation, and access.

- Oversee data pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes, and integration with various data sources.

- Manage data quality, governance, security, and compliance in line with organizational standards.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analysts to align technical solutions with business needs.

- Drive adoption of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Mentor and lead technical teams, providing guidance, performance reviews, and skill development.

- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and implement best practices for performance and scalability.

- Stay updated on emerging data technologies and evaluate their applicability to business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 12 - 14 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data platform delivery.

- Strong experience with Data Lake solutions, big data technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Hands-on knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration.

- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

- Proven experience leading large-scale data delivery projects.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with real-time data streaming, event-driven architectures, or machine learning pipelines.

- Knowledge of data catalog, metadata management, and data lineage tools.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
