Dataiku Developer - Data Engineering & Analytics

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Dataiku Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, analytics workflows, and machine learning solutions using Dataiku DSS.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building data workflows, deploying predictive models, and enabling data-driven decision-making through robust DataOps and MLOps practices.

Key Responsibilities :

End-to-End Data Pipeline Development :

- Design, build, and manage end-to-end data pipelines and workflows in Dataiku DSS.

- Develop data ingestion, preparation, enrichment, transformation, and orchestration workflows.

- Ensure high performance, data quality, scalability, and reliability across pipelines.

Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics :

- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models using Dataikus visual tools and coding capabilities.

- Implement feature engineering, experimentation, and performance tuning.

- Set up automated retraining, monitoring, and governance frameworks.

- Support model explainability and compliance requirements.

Integration & Platform Engineering :

- Integrate Dataiku with multiple data sources including :

1. SQL / NoSQL databases.

2. Cloud storages (AWS S3 / Azure / GCP).

3. APIs, Streaming platforms, and Enterprise Data Lakes.

- Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Teams.

MLOps & Productionization :

- Implement MLOps best practices within Dataiku.

- Operationalize models to production with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

- Monitor model performance, drift, and stability.

- Manage jobs, scheduling, and workflow automation.

Programming & Technical Expertise :

- Use Python and/or R for data manipulation, analytics, scripting, and custom plugin development.

- Work with SQL extensively for data querying and transformations.

- Troubleshoot performance and pipeline failures.

Documentation & Collaboration :

- Create technical documentation, project reports, and best practice guidelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, Analytics, IT, and Cloud Engineering.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and platform optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Science / Analytics.

- Strong hands-on expertise with Dataiku DSS.

- Proven experience in :

1. Building data pipelines and workflows.

2. Deploying and managing ML models.

3. MLOps / Model lifecycle management.

- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.

- Strong SQL skills.

- Experience working with :

1. Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

2. APIs, REST services, JSON, YAML.

- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security principles.
