Datacom Test Engineer - Automation Testing

Description :

We are looking for a Datacom Test Engineer with strong experience in automation using Python and deep knowledge of networking protocols.

The role involves validating network devices and features across L2/L3 layers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform Datacom and network testing across switching, routing, and communication protocols.

- Develop automation scripts using Python for test execution and validation.

- Validate L2/L3 protocols including VLANs, STP, ARP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, DHCP, and more.

- Execute functional, regression, and performance test cycles.

- Document test cases, results, and support root-cause analysis.

- Work with development teams to resolve defects and ensure high-quality releases.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Datacom / Networking testing.

- Proficiency in Python automation for test development.

- Solid understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols.

- Experience with routers, switches, traffic generators, and network tools.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
