Role : Datacom Developer / Lead

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Datacom Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable data communication solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our datacom infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of our data transmission, enabling us to deliver exceptional services to our customers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance, low-latency data communication software using C and Python for various network protocols and applications.

- Implement and optimize data processing algorithms and communication protocols to enhance network efficiency and throughput.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex datacom issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance for our global network infrastructure.

- Collaborate with network engineers to define and implement network architectures that meet evolving business requirements and scalability needs.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for datacom systems and processes, facilitating knowledge sharing and efficient troubleshooting.

- Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure code quality and adherence to industry best practices for the entire development team.

Required Skillset :

- Strong knowledge on C Programming with exposure to Core Analysis, Memory Issue Debugging, System Profiling and Performance Issue Debugging.

- Strong exposure on Python Application Programming with experience to implement end-to-end Python Features.

- Should have exposure on asynchronous programming / OOPS Concepts / Logging Framework / Python Debugging Tools.

- Good knowledge on Build Pipelines and Jenkins for debugging and fixing Build Issues.

- Working experience on Linux Platform like FreeBSD / Ubuntu etc.

- Should have good exposure in Designing Scalable / Resilient / Performant systems.

- Should have good Domain Experience on Network Security and General Networking.

- Should be conversant with AI First Development with hands-on exposure to GenAI Tools.

- Should have experience in Leading Feature Teams for Feature Delivery & Execution

- Working knowledge on Agile Development and Agile Workflow.

- Working Experience in Managing Customer Calls / Escalations / Roadmap Planning & Prioritization.

- Good Communication skills and Individual contributor.
