Datacenter Technical Lead - Wintel Environment

Position Overview :

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Wintel environments, virtualization, backup solutions, and storage technologies, with a focus on Veritas and EMC tools.

This role requires a proactive leader who can manage complex projects and ensure optimal performance and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee Wintel environments, including server installations, configurations, and maintenance.

- Implement and manage virtualization solutions using [specific VM technologies].

- Administer and optimize backup processes using Veritas backup tools.

- Manage EMC storage systems, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Provide basic support and understanding of proxy servers and Microsoft Exchange.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data center strategies.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve operations.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 10 years of experience in data center operations or a related field.

- Strong technical knowledge of Wintel environments and virtualization technologies.

- Proficiency with Veritas backup tools and EMC storage solutions.

- Basic understanding of proxy servers and Microsoft Exchange.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid environments.

- Familiarity with ITIL practices and frameworks.
