Datacenter Project Success Specialist

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Expertise :

- Core Datacenter Technologies : Hands-on experience with servers, storage, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Nutanix), and data protection tools (e.g., Commvault, Veeam, Dell DPS).

- Cloud Integration : Basic understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud setups and integration with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Virtualization and HCI : Practical expertise in virtualization (VMware) and exposure to hyper-converged infrastructures (Nutanix).

- Data Management : Experience in implementing and managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

- Network Security : Knowledge of security frameworks using tools like Fortinet and Checkpoint.

- Infrastructure Design : Ability to implement pre-defined architectures and contribute to design discussions.

2. Project Execution :

- Implementation : Ensure successful delivery of datacenter solutions, meeting project timelines and quality standards.

- Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation for implementations, configurations, and customer-specific solutions.

- Risk Mitigation : Proactively identify and address potential project risks and issues.

- Process Adherence : Follow established methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for project execution.

3. Customer Interaction :

- Technical Assessments : Support pre-sales teams in assessing customer infrastructure and needs.

- Customer Support : Provide direct technical support to resolve issues during and after project deployment.

- Satisfaction Assurance : Maintain a customer-centric approach to ensure high satisfaction levels through quality delivery and

support.

4. Reporting and Metrics :

- Track and report project performance, including status updates, milestones achieved, and challenges encountered.

- Collaborate with team leads to ensure alignment with broader practice goals.

5. Certification and Learning :

- Pursue and maintain certifications relevant to datacenter technologies (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified

Professional, Fortinet NSE).

- Stay updated on emerging trends in datacenter technologies and best practices.
