- Datacenter CMDB should be available and updated and kept at central location
- Ensure all SLA metrics are met as per agreed SLA norms for all deliverables.
- Identify risks, threats and recommend corrective or preventive measures.
- Should be aware about ITSM / ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISAE3402, SOX 404 and Customer specific audit for overall physical infrastructure management process.
- Coordinate with Service provider for DC power, cooling & associated infrastructure
(FAS/WLDS/ACS/VESDA/CCTV) and Coordinate with facilities on the RCA for all the incidents.
- Provided Monthly/ Weekly reporting of capacity, critical issues and ensure delivery of reports and tasks.
- Manage all Commissioning and decommissioning of equipments (Server devices, Network Devices, Storage, etc) and ensuring standards/policies are adhered.
- Plan, Analyze and Coordinate with Business/ Support teams for planned/unplanned downtime of server, network, storage etc.
- Value Creation through Service Improvement Plans (SIPs), Reviewing Customer Feedbacks, etc.
- Communicating and sharing Best Practices and Lessons Learned within the organization and from Clients.
- Responsible for completing all the requirements, Implementations and documentation w.r.t Physical infrastructure (Power/Cooling/Rack/Cabling/etc).
- Efficiently manage floor and rack space in the data center to maximize usage and minimize
costs.
- Coordinate with service provider to Maintain, control and audit data center security and
access provisioning.
- Establish and set Standards and Policy for installations and DC controls to increase and
optimize productivity, review and update as required.
- Create, Publish & Review SOPs w.r.t Data Centers
- Strong in Vendor Management and Act as a Single Point of contact for DC domain to manage
the operations at all DC across India.
- Strong in Problem Management and RCA management for end to end closure of the issue
