Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering / SQL Server Technical candidate to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade data solutions across transactional and analytical platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL Server, ETL/ELT development, cloud-based data platforms, and data architecture, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance database solutions using the Microsoft SQL Server stack, including stored procedures, views, functions, and table structures for both transactional and analytical workloads.

- Develop, enhance, and support ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integrations, including integrations with real-time streaming, API-based sources, and other upstream/downstream systems.

- Build new data solutions and support the migration of existing on-premises data platforms to cloud environments, including Azure Databricks and PySpark-based architectures.

- Lead technical design and implementation activities, ensuring adherence to best practices for performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.

- Mentor team members and support their technical growth through knowledge sharing, code reviews, technical reviews, and guidance on solution design.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, while providing technical leadership to the team.

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, and delivery of data engineering solutions.

- Provide operational and production support for data solutions, including troubleshooting and remediation of failed ETL jobs, data integration issues, and data quality concerns.

- Perform data modeling for both OLTP and OLAP systems to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational data needs.

- Collaborate directly with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure solution alignment with business objectives.

- Ensure all data solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, regulatory requirements, security policies, and compliance guidelines.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.

- Certification in a cloud data engineering or related cloud platform curriculum.

- Familiarity with database change capture technologies, including Change Tracking and Change Data Capture (CDC).

- Knowledge of data modeling patterns for both OLTP and OLAP workloads.

- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or a comparable relational database management system.

- 5+ years of experience in building and supporting data integration solutions using ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Databricks, or equivalent technologies.

- Strong hands-on experience in data integration patterns, including ETL/ELT, API integrations, and event-driven data processing.

- Strong understanding of database design, performance tuning, optimization, and data architecture principles.

- Experience creating and supporting robust data pipelines in enterprise environments.

- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
