We are looking for a highly skilled Database / Functional Tester with strong expertise in Trading and Treasury applications to join an ongoing transformation program.

The role requires hands-on experience in both functional and database testing, ensuring applications deliver with accuracy, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Testing :

- Design and execute test cases for various trading application functionalities.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure reliable system performance.

- Identify, document, and track functional defects across multiple systems.

- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

- Ensure high-quality deliverables by participating in code reviews and offering feedback on testability.

- Develop and maintain automated functional test scripts for efficiency and reusability.

Database Testing :

- Develop and implement test plans for database functionality, performance, and security.

- Conduct data validation, consistency checks, and integrity testing.

- Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify accuracy, completeness, and business alignment.

- Identify and resolve database-related defects with developers and DB administrators.

- Create and maintain automated database test scripts to enhance test coverage.

- Monitor and analyze database performance, identifying bottlenecks and potential risks.

General Contributions :

- Actively contribute to process improvements in testing methodologies and frameworks.

- Stay updated with the latest testing technologies, automation trends, and best practices.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure issue resolution and delivery quality.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Proven experience as a Database Tester or Functional Tester with exposure to trading and treasury domain applications.

- Strong SQL expertise and database testing skills for data validation and quality assurance.

- Hands-on experience with functional test automation frameworks.

- Excellent understanding of functional testing lifecycles including regression, integration, and performance.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

- Excellent verbal and written communication for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
