Location : Bangalore (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities / KRAs :

- Develop and optimize data models, schemas, and database designs to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.

- Manage and maintain cloud-based databases leveraging AWS services such as Aurora, RDS, and S3.

- Implement and support distributed database models (SQL & NoSQL) with focus on performance tuning and optimization.

- Build and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI to integrate database solutions with applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps, analytics) to deliver robust and efficient database-driven solutions.

- Ensure database security, compliance, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.

- Conduct performance analysis and implement optimization strategies for high availability and reliability.

- Provide technical guidance and best practices to development teams on database design and data access patterns.

- Stay updated with emerging database technologies and integrate them into solutions where applicable.

Mandatory Skills :

- 5+ years of proven experience in data modeling and database design.

- 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting medium-to-large scale

databases.

- 5+ years of experience in AWS services (Aurora, S3, RDS, storage technologies).

- 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and tuning solutions using AWS databases.

- Expertise in SQL & NoSQL distributed database models.

- Strong experience with FastAPI for API design and integration.

- Solid understanding of MySQL and PostgreSQL.

- Advanced Python programming skills for database-related automation and development.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with database migration, modernization, and automation in cloud environments.

- Strong knowledge of database monitoring and observability tools.
