Required Hard Skills :

- The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation of technical expertise and hands-on experience in the following areas :

- 8+ years of experience on IBM i Series (AS400), including the use of programming languages such as CL, RPG, and COBOL for developing, maintaining, and optimizing system applications.

- 5+ years of experience using SQL/DB2 on IBM i Series, with extensive knowledge of system catalogues, database objects, and schema structures.

- Expertise in converting DDS Physical Files to DDL Tables and implementing SQL long names, ensuring system modernization and compatibility with SQL-based environments.

- Strong understanding of how to generate a Logical File Surrogate and analyze its impact on RPG programs, ensuring system performance and integrity.

- Proven 5+ years of experience working directly with clients, gathering requirements, translating business needs into technical deliverables, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.

- At least 5+ years of experience managing project tasks and timelines, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful delivery within scope and budget.

Additional Desired Attributes :

- Deep understanding of IBM i Series environments, database optimization, and system performance tuning.

- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams, providing expert guidance on database architecture and migration strategies.

- Strong documentation skills to maintain system procedures, configuration details, and change logs.
