Talent Worx is seeking a meticulous and experienced Database Quality Test Engineer with a strong focus on PostgreSQL, to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and quality of application deployments within an enterprise environment. You will be instrumental in executing complex tests on a PostgreSQL database and its associated front-end clients, collaborating with global teams, and providing essential support to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Deployment & Delivery :

- Utilize a UBS custom-tailored application deployment framework (EUPS) to deliver application releases into the enterprise environment. These releases are primarily packaged as AppV, Numecent, or MSI packages.

- Deliver new or updated application releases targeting a large user base (over 100,000 users) and extensive physical infrastructure (over 20,000 machines).

- Occasionally participate in application deployment tasks to support team objectives.

Database & Application Testing :

- Run complex tests over the application deployment framework's PostgreSQL Database and its Front-End clients (both WebUI and fat Client).

- Ensure the custom database solution operates with reliable updates and supports application deployers effectively.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Collaborate effectively with a local team in India (up to five individuals) and work seamlessly with remote team members located in Switzerland and the USA.

- Document solutions meticulously at both an engineering level and a user level to ensure clarity and usability.

- Provide essential support to stakeholders and end-users, addressing queries and providing guidance.

- Troubleshoot application deployment issues, actively working on support queues to resolve problems promptly.

Required Qualifications :

Experience : 5+ years of experience with writing complex SQL Queries, with a strong preference for PostgreSQL.

Database Understanding : Solid understanding of SQL Relational Databases and their principles.

Work Ethic : Highly organized individual with exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.

Communication : Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and support users.
