Position : Database Performance & Operations Engineer

Experience : 8 to 12 years

Location : Pune/ Remote

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Database Performance & Data Operations Engineer to manage and optimize rapidly scaling data environment. This role is critical to maintaining database efficiency, query performance, and sub-second response times as data volumes grow.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Monitor and optimize database performance at scale

- Analyze & tune SQL queries (execution plans, scan vs seek)

- Design and maintain indexing strategies

- Improve data load & bulk insert performance

- Implement data pruning / archiving strategies

- Optimize stored procedures & query execution

- Handle large JSON payload processing & persistence

- Create efficient database views for service consumption

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- BE / BTech in IT / Computer Science or related field

- Strong SQL performance tuning expertise

- Deep understanding of execution plans & indexing

- Experience with large / fast-growing datasets

- Experience with bulk inserts & stored procedures

- Experience handling large JSON payloads

- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
