We are looking for three experienced Database Engineers to join our team in Ahmedabad for a major migration project. This is a work-from-home position where you will play a crucial role in migrating databases from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL. The ideal candidates will be individual contributors with hands-on experience in database migration, object conversion, and ensuring data integrity throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities :

- Execute automated and manual migration tasks for the MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL project.

- Convert database objects, including Stored Procedures and Functions, from T-SQL to pgSQL.

- Work independently as an individual contributor, directly engaging with clients to ensure a smooth and successful migration.

- Validate the migrated data to ensure integrity, performance, and compatibility are maintained.

- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any migration-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 - 4 years of professional experience as a Database Engineer.

- A minimum of 3 years of active experience in migrating databases from MS SQL Server (On-Prem) to PostgreSQL (AWS).

- Strong expertise in converting T-SQL to pgSQL procedures and functions.

- Proven hands-on knowledge of executing structured migration plans while ensuring data integrity, performance continuity, and compatibility.

- Experience with SQL Database Migration Service (DMS) Setup is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.
