Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills :

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 2+ years Healthcare industry experience preferred

- 3+ years of experience with SQL, database design, optimization, and tuning

- 3+ years of experience with open source relational (e.g. Postgresql)

- 3+ years of experience using Github

- 3+ years of experience in Shell Scripting and one other object-oriented language such as Python, or PhP.

- 3+ years of experience in continuous integration and development methodologies tools such as Jenkins

- 3+ years of experience in an Agile development environment

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement relational database schema in PostgreSQL, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performant query execution

- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and indexing strategies to support business use cases

- Monitor database performance and execute tuning and optimization techniques, including query profiling and indexing

- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient integration of database systems with applications and ETL workflows

- Develop and maintain Shell scripts and Python or PHP components to automate tasks and support data processing workflows
