We are seeking an experienced Database Developer with strong expertise in Sybase Stored Procedures and Transact-SQL to support, maintain, and enhance an existing application.

The role involves database administration, query optimization, and procedural SQL development, along with supporting the migration of business logic from stored procedures into Java-based applications.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and SQL programming, with additional exposure to modern tools such as Git, PowerShell, or Java considered a plus.

Required Experience & Qualifications :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Database Developer.

- Strong proficiency in Stored Procedures / Procedural SQL (preferably Transact-SQL on Sybase or MS SQL Server).

Hands-on experience with :

- Cursors, variables, loops, complex joins, subqueries.

- Temporary and intermediate tables for data processing.

- Proven expertise in query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in database-driven environments.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills) :

- Knowledge of Git for version control.

- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.

- Exposure to Java for migration-related activities.
