About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to design, optimize, and maintain high-performance data platforms.

The role focuses on building scalable database schemas, improving query performance, and supporting analytics and ETL workloads in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient database schemas

- Develop and execute reliable data migration and schema-change scripts

- Implement indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization strategies

- Perform advanced SQL query tuning for high-volume and high-performance workloads

- Support analytics and data engineering teams by optimizing ETL pipelines

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across development, staging, and production environments

- Monitor database performance and proactively identify bottlenecks and improvements

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setup

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL

- Advanced expertise in SQL performance tuning and optimization

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and ETL pipelines

- Proven experience with schema design, indexing strategies, and database migrations

- Experience handling large-scale analytical and transactional workloads

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, collaborative environment

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS ecosystem)

- Familiarity with monitoring and performance diagnostic tools

- Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data quality
