Job Title : Database Developer (MySQL / MongoDB)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer with hands-on experience in MySQL or MongoDB and proficiency in at least one programming language. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize databases, write efficient queries, and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain databases using MySQL or MongoDB.

- Write and optimize complex SQL/NoSQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Ensure database performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database logic with application code.

- Perform data modelling, schema design, indexing, and query tuning.

- Manage database backups, recovery, partitioning, and data migration.

- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

- Support production systems and ensure high availability.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3+ years of experience as a Database Developer or Database Engineer.

- Hands-on experience with MySQL or MongoDB (either one is sufficient).

- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Node.js, C#, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies.

- Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, and data modelling.

- Familiarity with database security, access control, and backup strategies.

- Understanding of REST APIs and integrating applications with databases.

- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
