Database Architect - SQL Server

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and enforce data retention, governance, and archival policies.

- Lead database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies to improve

system efficiency.

- Architect and support scalable database structures and storage strategies.

- Ensure high levels of data reliability, security, and compliance with organizational standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with business applications

and analytics platforms.

- Provide guidance on database best practices, architecture patterns, and emerging

technologies.

- Mentor and support junior DBAs and data professionals in the team.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, database administration, and performance

optimization.

- Hands-on experience with both relational (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-

relational (NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) databases.

- Strong expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling.

- Familiarity with data governance, retention policies, and compliance practices.

- Experience designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-level database solutions.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with technical and business stakeholders.
